Effects of Deformation and Annealing on T c of Low-T c Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O

Effects of deformation and annealing on the Tc value is studied for the low-Tc Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox. The treatment (deformation and annealing) increases the Tc value of the low-Tc Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox. Based on the results of x-ray diffraction, the Tc value is explained by the crystal perfection of the lattice ordering.
