The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a hemispherical lens die. The method comprises the following steps that firstly, a flat aluminum alloy plate workpiece is used as an aluminum alloy base body; secondly, a conical hole is drilled in the aluminum alloy base body; thirdly, the concave spherical surface of the conical hole is formed through milling by means of a ball milling cutter; fourthly, hot-pressing is conducted on the concave spherical surface through a ball die, the shape of the concave spherical surface is corrected, and then the hemispherical lens die is obtained. According to the hemispherical lens die manufactured according to the method, the technology is simple, cost is low and the precision can be guaranteed.
