The overview of sickness and accident insurance in Poland

The authors have characterised sickness and accident insurance in Poland. The attention has been paid to employee sickness understood as a risk for the employer. Social benefits due in cases of sickness and motherhood have been characterised. Rights and conditions for accident benefits have been discussed. The benefit eligibility in cases of occupational diseases has been presented.
