An Introduction to the Russian Theatre Research Network (UK)

ABSTRACTThe Russian Theatre Research Network (RTRN) was established in 2012 to facilitate interaction and dialog between those involved in the study and practice of Russian theater. Although initially focused on research in the UK, interest from international scholars has widened the scope of the RTRN towards an international audience. The RTRN seeks to function as a space for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of work, providing its members with online forums for discussion, as well as opportunities to meet in person. Above all, the RTRN seeks to connect those carrying out the extremely interesting and thought-provoking explorations of Russian theater currently taking place so that we might benefit from, and be challenged by, one another's work.
