Inulin distribution kinetics in normal and phalloidin-poisoned rat livers
1972
1.
Inulin space in increased in livers of rats poisoned with 2 mg/kg phalloidin i.p. 30 min before sacrifice.
2.
Diffusion of inulin into the cell water is postulated to be more marked in slices from poisoned livers as compared with slices from normal livers.
3.
Our findings support the assumption that cell membrane damage is the primary pathologic event in livers poisoned with phalloidin.
