Method of controlling a set of at least two satellites adapted to provide a service implemented by at least a portion of all such satellites in a given instant, characterized in that, continuously or pseudo-continuous, a mean value is calculated (ΩM (t)) of the lengths (.omega..sub.i (t)) of the respective of each satellite ascending nodes and, for each satellite, a correction of satellite trajectory is ordered by adjusting the length of the ascending node (.omega..sub.i (t)) a setpoint equal to said current mean value (ΩM (t)).
