Technique of laser lesser-curve seromyotomy

A new technique for performing a lesser-curve superficial myotomy of the stomach for the treatment of chronic duodenal ulceration has been proposed, using Nd-YAG laser energy delivered to the target via sapphire tips. A total of 12 patients have been operated on with only one haemorrhagic complication.
