Short-cut calculation methods for modelling of gas cooling with partial condensation

For design of heat exchangers in which there is gas cooling with partial condensation, a shortcut calculation method is proposed. The method applies to design from the saturation temperature down. It is also requ1red that heat flux decreases with decreasing temperature. Compared with some other methods, larger area requirements are predicted but these are within desirable bounds.
