Characteristics of turbulent flows in mines

1986
The characteristics of turbulent flows in mines have to be estimated in solving various problems of mine air and gas dynamics and thermal physics. The authors maintain that it is desirable to estimate the coefficients of turbulent exchange for a pulse and turbulent thermal conduction in a working with a rough surface on the basis of simple experimental-analytical methods. The heat transfer processes in mines are studied on mine models with well-developed methods. The coefficient for various types of mines is given. The solution of the inverse problem of thermal exchange can be used to evaluate approximately the coefficients of turbulent transfer in a mine.
