Study on Geometric Pattern of Unearthed Woolen Fabric from Xinjiang

Xinjiang is a land combines the ancient civilization of east and west and it is also the major crossroads of Silk Road. The earliest unearthed woolen fabrics were made in around 1500 BC to 2000 BC; the patterns are quite simpler with mainly geometric lines. Those similar geometric patterns were also found in many burial sites in Xinjiang. By studying and analyzing unearthed woolen geometric patterns in Xinjiang, this thesis aims to present the possibility of its development.
