The present invention relates to the preparation of plant cell cultures of the genera Dendrobium, Phalaenopsis, Anisellia, polyrrhiza, Vanilla, Cattleya and Vanda, and their use in the cosmetic, nutritional and pharmaceutical field. In particular, the present invention relates to a cell culture obtained from meristematic cells of plants belonging to the genera Dendrobium, Phalaenopsis, Anisellia, polyrrhiza, Vanilla, Cattleya and Vanda, characterized in that it contains an amount of phenylpropanoids greater than 0, 1% relative to the dry cell weight and an amount of water-soluble polysaccharides greater than 5% relative to the dry weight of the cells. The invention also relates to preparations, pharmaceutical and cosmetic and dietary supplements containing said cell culture.
