Выбор тактики лечения переломов лучевой кости в типичном месте

The problem of treatment of distal radius metaepiphysis fracture is of topical interest at present. According to the data of different authors the given pathology makes up 32 % of all kinds of orthopedic trauma. Generally accepted therapeutic approach to the given pathology does not exist. In Saratov Research and Development Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics 80 patients with distal radius fractures gone through various kinds of conservative and surgical treatment were examined. Among all surgical methods of treatment compressive and destructive method by external fixation devices, open reduction of fragments with Kirschner wire fixation, open reduction of fragments with bone plating with angular stability were applied. Patients were examined within the period of two years. The best results are received in the group of patients who went through the bone plating with angular stability.
