John Ross Callahan

Dusky brown in color, 1⅔ life-size in dimension, lodged on a7-ft pedestal of straight and simple lines is the mellowed bronze bust of a man. Sculptured eyes peer over a brushy moustache to look on the clinic of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus. Around the base swirl the students, many of whom do not clearly understand who he was. Few have done more than pause to read the name—John R. Callahan.
