The method comprises the steps that a first inquiring request of an inquiring request terminal for a database is acquired; whether inquiring requests the same as the first inquiring request exist or not is detected; if yes, one of the same inquiring requests is selected and submitted to the database; an inquiring result returned by the database is received and returned to the inquiring request terminal. By means of the method and device, the number of times of inquiring the database is reduced, the system consumption of the database is further reduced, the responding speed of inquiring each time is correspondingly increased, and the working efficiency of a database server is improved.
