Enantioselective Chloro‐O‐cyclization of Unsaturated N‐Tosylcarbamates

An enantioselective chloro-O-cyclization of unsaturated N-tosylcarbamates has been developed for the first time using a Cinchona-derived quaternary ammonium salt as the catalyst, the desired enantioenriched chloromethyldioxolanimines were prepared with excellent regioselectivities and high enantioselectivities.
