In∞uence of Grating Period of Uniform Fiber Bragg Grating on Slow Light Delay

On the basis of the coupled mode theory, the in∞uence of grating period of uniform flber Bragg grating on delay was investigated by using numerical simulation method. The result shows that grating period has a remarkable impact on the delay. The maximum value of the delay can be obtained by parameters optimization, which is 17:3013"s occurs near the Bragg wavelength, but it decays exponentially.
