Numerical Simulation of Projectile Drag Coefficient Based on FVM

The aerodynamic configuration of one-dimensional trajectory correction fuze changes a lot comparing with the uncontrolled projectile as the damper stretches out.It is difficult to calculate the drag coefficient of projectile by using engineering algorithm.In order to solve this problem,the finite volume method was introduced into the numerical simulation of solving the projectile drag coefficient.With the flow field partitioned and meshed,this method obtained the projectile drag coefficient at zero angle of attack under different Mach number by calculating the navier-stokes equation on each grid with numerical integration.The fact that the calculation results were consistent with the experimental results showed that this method was of high accuracy,calculation results could provide reference for exterior ballistic simulation.
