Three-dimensional design of a material field excavation of a water conservancy and hydropower project based on CATIA

In order to provide direct and effective feedback information on overall layout for construction of a water conservancy and hydropower project,based on CATIA and the actual geological conditions of a material field region,the three-dimensional model of a material field is established,furthermore,the three-dimensional design of excavation region of the material field is achieved.The result shows that the application of CATIA three-dimensional design technology in the construction design of material field can not only directly reflect the regional topography and geomorphology of the region,but also quickly give quantities of excavation body and the support surface of the excavated part,which improves the calculation accuracy of a material field excavation and the efficiency of the construction design.
