Experiment of in-depth profile control and oil displacement for HTHP reservoirs

A new multifunction compound gel has been developed for the HTHP reservoirs in Wen-13 west block based on a large quantity of laboratory experiments and field tests.Analyses of the mechanism and the plugging ability of this gel agent of profile control and oil displacement indicate that this gel agent has good thermal stability,plugging ability and flushing resistance,can effectively improve the entry profile of an oil well and increase oil production.The development of this gel agent provides technical reference to the mid-late life of reservoir development in Wen-13 west block
