Limitations and Issues of Congestion Control in Heterogeneity Network

Congestion control provides a mechanism for maintaining the stability and efficiency of the networks of the Internet. These controlling algorithms include many new challenges that are becoming important as the network grows in addition to the issues. Here we describe the work taken to study various congestion control techniques used for maintaining the traffic of the networks. Many research works are carried out and suggested several congestion control techniques under various (Heterogeneous) network condition. The TCP congestion control mechanism is highly focused and several solutions that have been proposed to improve the performance. This analysis tries to study the limitations of the suggested solutions, based on various parameters and proposed algorithms to overcome these barriers.
