Pengaruh Perubahan Ketebalan Terhadap Tegangan Ambang Dan Waktu Tanggap Pada Sel Twisted Nematic

Influence of thickness changes of threshold voltage and response time in twisted nematic cell has been studied. Four twisted nematic cells which filled with 4-n-pentyl-4'-cyanobiphenyl (5CB) with different thickness, that are 50 μm, 100 μm, 150 μm, and 200 μm, has been used. The thickness of the cell didn't affect threshold voltage, but highly affect the response time. There are 2 kind of response time which observed in this research : rise time and fall time. As the thickness of the cell increase, rise time and fall time will increase too.
