Cause analysis and countermeasures on hypokalemia for aged psychotic patients

Objective To analyze the cause of hypokalemia for aged psychotic patients and find out corresponding nursing measures.Method Observation group is formed by 66 aged psychotic patients with hypokalemia.Randomly select 60 aged psychotic patients with normal serum potassium as control group.Analyze the result by logistic multivariable regression analyses.Result Multivariable regression analyses show that poor diet,frequent physical diseases and large dosage of antipsychotic drugs are the main causes of hypokalemia for aged psychotic patients.Conclusion Hypokalemia for aged psychotic patients are caused by various reasons and patients need comprehensive intervention.
