A new synthesis of 1,2-bis(bis(trifluoromethyl)phosphino)ethane

Abstract 1,2- Bis ( bis (trifluoromethyl)phosphino)ethane was synthesised in a one-pot reaction by treatment of 1,2- bis (dichlorophosphino)ethane with bromotrifluoromethane and hexaethylphosphorus triamide.
