Particle-hole state densities for calculation of the multi-step compound emission

Abstract Analytical formulae have been derived for the density of particle-hole states having all particles bound. Such states are involved in the statistical multi-step compound MSC emission. Results of calculations are compared with predictions of other theoretical approaches.
