Driving Forces of Technological Innovation Activities in China——Based on Empirical Study of the National S&T Programs

Based on the data of Chinese National ST Programs from 2002 to 2010,the paper focuses its discussion on the driving forces of technological innovation activities.Major findings include: the input-output cycle of National Industrialization Programs is longer,a sustaining input for at least 2 years for innovation investment.In terms of innovative effect,research institutions and universities conduct more academic oriented research,while enterprises have played an important role in all kinds of innovation achievements.In addition,innovators’workloads and external financial supports have remarkable driving effects on the technological innovation activities.
