Improvement of Engineering Methods for Calculating Ventilation and Air Conditioning of Museum Storage Facilities

2020
The article is devoted to the problem of ventilation and air conditioning of the premises of the storage facilities of museums, the standards of which are mandatory. Due to the presence of a large number of paintings, documents, maps and drawings in the storages, the required air parameters are required for their safety and integrity. The equipment of ventilation and air conditioning systems in the premises of the museum storage facilities is dictated by the requirements of regulatory documents. At the same time, it is required to create high-quality air exchange. Supply and exhaust ventilation with forced circulation is considered optimal. The methodology for calculating the air exchange in the premises of museum storage facilities is presented, which allows to provide the required air parameters in a given volume. The article describes the storage facility as an object consisting of two control measurements: 1-wall volume; 2-internal volume. Schematic diagrams of the organization of air exchange in the premises of the storage facilities of museums according to the bottom-up scheme for the warm and cold periods of the year are given. The general schemes of heat and mass transfer processes in the ventilated volume of the premises of the museum storage facilities with two control volumes, which allow determining the air exchange for the normalized air parameters in a given volume, are presented. Diagram I-d shows the change in air parameters when organizing air exchange according to the scheme from bottom to top with air intake for recirculation of the upper zone of the near-wall volume during the warm period, and from the lower zone of the near-wall area during the cold season.
