Study of the influence of co‐adsorbed small sulphur molecules on the mechanisms of grafting and growing of polymeric films electropolymerized on usual metals

The objective of this work consists in evaluating the electropolymerization as a process able to build on usual metals films of few a micrometers thick without degraded of the quality of the thin films. We show that the use of very low content of thiourea plays a determining role through the limitation of the grafting ratio of the polymer on the electrode. In this way the production of non grafted chain can follow its incorporation in the grafted framework to give film of higher thickness.
