A conversation with: Geoff Manaugh

2012
I suppose that I've always been interested in coming at architecture from a variety of different perspectives, based on the realisation that you can always come back to the built environment in ways that you might not have otherwise expected. Whether you're talking about landscape design on a scale of literally just a garden or about an entire continent. The flora and fauna that exist in the continent, whether it is Australia being affected by Aboriginal populations over tens of thousands of years, or the rainforests in Central South America being more or less carefully pruned over time. Between those scales you get people interacting with space and interacting with environments in a way that turns them into the built environment.
