Comparative phytochemical study of the inflorescences of different species of everlasting

1977
Study of the qualitative and quantitative composition of biologically active substances in the inflorescences of 12 species of everlasting indicated that the majority of investigated species have indices similar to those of yellow everlasting. It was clarified thatH. graveolens, H. polyphyllun, H. rubicundum, andH. pallasii of the Caucasus Range are promising objects for deeper study as possible substitutes for yellow everlasting. It was established that the inflorescences of yellow everlasting and other similar species should be collected during the phase of budding to the onset of flowering.
