Genetic Research for Major Agronomic Traits of Japonica Rice in Liaoning

Using the complete Griffing design Ⅱ and the ADAA Genetic Model,the major agronomic traits of japonica rice in Liaoning Province were analyzed.The results indicated that the plant height,panicle curved extent,panicle length,number of ripened grains in secondary branches,secondary branches and number of ripened grains were mainly controlled by dominant effect.The expression of grain density was controlled by multiple heredity system.Neither the dominant effect nor the additive effect of the 1000-grain weight was significant.The broad heritability and the narrow heritability of the plant height,panicle curved extent,panicle length and number of primary rachis branches were all extremely significant.
