CAS E REPORT SIMULTANEOUS REPLANTATION OF MAXILLARY LATERAL TOOTH AND ENUCLEATION PROCEDURE OF EXTENS IVE DENTIGEROUS CYS T

Dentigerous cyst is the most common of develop mental odontogenic cysts of the jaws and it is mostly seen in young adults. A 18 year-old male patient referred to our clinic with a complaint of swelling halitozis and pus discharge from free g ingival marg in of right upper incisor. Prior to surgical procedure, endodontic therapy was completed. Cyst enucleation and removal of cyst remnants of anchoraged sites in adjacent bone were achieved. The tooth was replanted back into the alveolus bone and splinted with a semi -rigid splint for 12 weeks through orthodontic appliances. Definitive diagnosis was made interestingly as infected dentigerous cyst. At the end of 14 months of follo w-up period, the tooth and patient was uneventful.
