EMC Analysis of Train Control System Based on Network

2020
Various system-level assessment models for analyzing EMC based on the idea of graphs have been proposed. However, the diversity of the electromagnetic (EM) environment in railway and complexity of the on-board train control system (OTCS) make it difficult to analyze and prevent all possible EMI events or faults. Thus, the safety assessment specification and different susceptibility of the OTCS equipment also calls for a systematic analysis of the EMC both in design and engineering application stages. Hence, this letter presents a network-based methodology for system-level EMC analysis at the operation stage. The network framework is comprised of an EMC network and a network of the system physical architecture. Further, the nodes and edges of the final network model are defined by corresponding parameters. Then the parameter can be transferred from the origin to the destination through calculation, simulation, and measurement, respectively. The validity of the proposed method is verified by calculation and measurement results in the subsystem in OTCS.
