Yersinia pseudotuberculosis O III Causes Diarrhea in Brazilian Cattle

Diarrhea outbreaks, or yersiniosis, among bovine cattle and buffaloes in South Brazil caused by the Yersinia pseudotuberculosis O III serogroup are reported here. The environmental effects of yersiniosis and the clinical signs of diseased animals, including main gross lesions at necropsy and histopathologic lesions of enteric tissues, are also discussed.
