NEW CT IMAGE RECONSTRUCTION ALGORITHM BASED ON THE BAYES ESTIMATION

Abstract We have proposed a unique and simple image reconstruction algorithm called Bayesian back-projection method (BBP) for CT of both transmission and emission types. The method proved the possibility of the image reconstruction for the actual phantom problems. Attractive features of the method are discussed.
