Reference signal assignment method and equipment

The invention relates to the technical field of mobile communications, and specifically, to a reference signal assignment method and equipment, resolving a technical problem of increased interference owing to a multi-user non-orthogonal transmission. In one embodiment of the invention, information indicating a reference signal and a data streaming number contains different states. A state received by a signal recipient (or a terminal) can correspond to different orthogonal cover code (OCC) lengths, or, to different OCC sequences. The signal recipient is configured to determine that the reference signal is a reference signal corresponding to an assigned state, thereby ensuring a plurality of signal recipients (e.g., three or more signal recipients) to perform orthogonal transmissions during data transmissions. The embodiment not only increases transmission layers but also reduces interference between terminals, increasing a data transmission speed, and enhancing system spectral efficiency.
