Pleurotus ostreatus cultivating substrate by using medicine slag and marsh slag and preparation method thereof

2008
The invention relates to an oyster mushroom growing medium by the utilization of herb residue and biogas residue, and a preparation method thereof. The components of the growing medium are: herb residue, biogas residue, lime powder, gesso, urea, calcium superphosphate, and wheat bran. By combining biogas residue with herb residue, and complementing proper auxiliary materials, the invention ensures that the medium nutrient is complementary to the granule size, thus hitting the target of normal bacteria growing, normal mushroom growing, and stable production without the addition of other raw materials. The invention also provides a method for preparing the growing medium. The cost of the oyster mushroom growing medium is 80 percent lower than that of cottonseed shell raw material and around 60 percent lower than that of straw materials such as corn cob. Usually, the biological efficiency is about 120 percent.
