The environmental factors act as a trigger for the clinical ex pression of rheumatoid in subjects with susceptibility genes. Genetic factors account for 60% of disease suscepti bility. This review focalizes the knowledges about the ge netic and environmental basis of the susceptibility to this pathology arthritis.
