The expression of IgG isotype anti-endothelial cell antibodies in Primary glomerulopathy

2013
Objectives Anti-endothelial cell antibodies (AECA),especially IgG isotype, detected in patients with lupus nephritis and ANCA-associated systemic vasculitis with renal damage, had been implicated in the pathogenesis of these diseases. But the positive rates of it with primary glomerulopathy have not been elucidated. Our study aimed to investigate the expression of IgG isotype AECA in patients with primary glomerulopathy. Methods To collect 147 patients with glomerulopathy in our hospital retrospectively. The Serum IgG isotype AECA of patients were detected. Then divided all patients into two groups:the control group(40 patients with lupus nephritis and ANCA -associated systemic vasculitis with renal damage),the experimental group(107 patients with primary glomerulopathy),and compared the positive rate of IgG isotype AECA with two groups. Results The positive rate of IgG isotype AECA was 55% in control group and 39.3% in experimental group, they also had no significant difference. Conclusions Without lupus nephritis and ANCA-associated systemic vasculitis with renal damage,IgG isotype AECA maybe has a role in the pathogenesis of primary glomerulopathy.
