A Report on the Lectures and the Experiments on Science and Technology Planned for Junior Highschool Students

The measures, against the tendency of young generation to avoid technological educations, are needed. In Yonago National College of Technology, we have been performing the measures, which consisted of the special lectures on science and technology for junior highschool students and the TV programs to introduce present technology, since 1995.Most of the lectures included many experiments as their main parts. About 180 students were participated the lectures in this and last years. It was shown that the special lectures were valued by the students from the survey of their attitudes. However, it was also found that several improvements are needed in our lectures.
