The application of phospholipase A2 in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumor

Phospholipase A2s(PLA2) are important enzymes that exist widely in cell and body fluid of animals.They participate in inflammation reaction、host defense reaction and lipid metabolism.Therefore, PLA2 is closely related with the occurrence and development of tumors.Studies in recent years have found that PLA2 can be used as an important indicator of malignantcy for tumor diagnosis.It has value for the certain prediction of patients survival.Further study on PLA2 might provide novel ideas for the tumor treatment.
