The invention relates to a carbon fiber-containing ammonia storage active mixture porous solid sample coupon and a preparation method thereof. The ammonia storage active mixture porous solid sample coupon is mainly composed of anhydrous strontium chloride, carbon fibers and industrial ball clay. The preparation method comprises the steps of mixing industrial anhydrous strontium chloride powder, the carbon fibers, the industrial ball clay, ionized water and industrial alcohol; stirring the mixture uniformly with a stirring machine to form half-dried mixed powder; adding the half-dried mixed powder to a closed container capable of being opened to perform mechanical oscillation so as to form a wet sample coupon; and drying the coupon under a condition with a temperature of 60-80 DEG C and a vacuum degree of 10 -1 kPa or drying at a temperature of 100 DEG C. The solid sample coupon guarantees the ammonia storage characteristic of the metal salt, increases the mechanical strength and structure stability of the mixture sample coupon, can prevent the powder falling phenomenon caused by oscillation during the using process from occurrence.
