Nem João, nem Maria: as práticas corporais para integração de gêneros nas aulas de Educação Física

The article analyzes the beginnings of gender studies, based on classic concepts so that we can understand how sexist and sexist ideals have become intertwined in our culture, to the point that they are increasingly ingrained and have practices that have been naturalized over the years. Physical Education has always had an enormous connection with this theme, due to the strictly biological characteristics present in the hygienist and militarist models. In this perspective, this essay study aims to critically analyze how body practices can contribute to promoting gender integration in Physical Education classes.
