A Method for Determining Intraoperative Length-Tension Curves of Human Extraocular Muscles

1990
Active and passive length-tension curves of human extraocular muscles were first measured by Collins (1969) and Robinson (1969). Collins (1981) measured these forces in normal subjects with nonin-vasive length-tension forceps. These experiments helped delineate and quantitate the different mechanical components of human eye movements.
