Design of a Device for Chlorine and Sodium Metal Reaction

This paper designed a simple experiment device of chlorine and metallic sodium reaction based U-shaped glass tubes. This device is divided into three regions,area 1 for chlorine preparation,area 2 for the tail gas absorption,area 3 for sodium metal place.The operation is simple,green,pollution-free and cheap,it can complete many similar gas-solid reaction and the experiment verification of gas properties. The device is used to the chemical experiment teaching in middle school.
