Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar
2021
Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) acquires the full-polarization scattering matrix of each pixel in the scene by means of transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves with different polarizations. Comparing with the conventional single PolSAR, the polarimetric scattering matrix contains more information which can represent the response of the terrain to different electromagnetic waves.
