Protein antigenicity: a static surface property.

1987
Much recent progress has been made in understanding the nature of antigenicity in the generation of antibodies. In this article Jiři Novotný and his colleagues discuss properties such as accessibility, flexibility and shape which determine the antigenicity of sites on proteins and consider the influence of these properties on the formation of immune complexes and the composition of the idiotype network.
