SIMULATION ON CONFIGURATION OF SENSOR FOR PROCESS TOMOGRAPHY

The different configurations of process tomography (PT) sensors were simulated. The effects of sensor sensitive area, sensor interval, and sensor scanning angle interval on the quality of image reconstruction were analyzed. Based on filtered back projection, the images obtained from the different configurations of sensors were reconstructed. The results of image simulation are presented, and the corresponding spatial image errors are given. The relations between the different configurations and the quality of image reconstruction were discussed.
