Method for regulation of audio level from multiple channels and sliding device

2000
The invention concerns a method for adjusting the sound levels coming from several audio sources, in a television receiver set. The audio components derived from at least two audio-visual sources are received in an audio-visual receiver and mixed to generate a single audio signal. The levels assigned to each source are adjustable by the user by means of an icon displayed on a screen. The icon comprises at least two points representing the two sources and a cursor which moves along two dimensions, the distance between said cursor and the point representing a source being proportional to the sound level assigned to said source. The invention also concerns the audio-visual terminal for implementing said method.
