Las nuevas competencias del administrador de Empresas en Colombia: Revisión de tema

The objective of the present review was to analyze the state of the art of the investigations made by several researchers on the level of fulfillment of these competences in the country and what is the degree of importance given by graduates and employers and also analyze the competences generic that the Ministry of Education has indicated to include in the curricula. The method used is descriptive and as a result the administrator's main competence was obtained: "Develop strategic, tactical and operational planning." Additionally, ample and diverse literature was found that supports the new proposed competencies in addition to the curriculum: command of a foreign language, mathematical thinking, citizenship competencies, and competencies in Science, Technology, and information management.
