Study of preparation and quality on norfloxacin-PVP coprecipitate

Objective: The authors studied norfloxacin PVP coprecipitate in order to provide references for difficult soluble drug to improve dissolution. Methods: Rotation basket method (see in CCP) was used. Results: The results showed that norfloxacin in norfloxacin PVP coprecipitate was in a amorphous state, and significant difference (P0.05) was observed between the dissolution parameter (Td) of coprecipitate and physical mixture. Conclusion: Coprecipitate can improve dissolution of norfloxacin in 0.1M hydrochloric acid solution.
